2003 of NOTE:    Lu Mucci was acclaimed our new BIA President at the annual meeting, succeeding Robert Blakesley. Following a presentation by volunteers from the Boothbay Region Land Trust about Lobster Cove Meadow, open space and wildlife habitat preservation, the BIA voted to give $1,000 to the BRLT to be used for surveying, appraisal, and or purchase costs of the Giles Property. At the annual Bayville Corporation meeting the Overseers were granted authority "to negotiate the acquisition of land or an interest in land" and to appropriate $30,000 for the purpose.  Jim Coleman was sworn in as the new Chair of our Bayville Corp. Board of Overseers. (See Bayville Village Corp.)

While the summer seemed very short, among many visitors to Boothbay Harbor, several Bayville residents took advantage of the unusual number of dark and foggy days to enjoy foot reflexology, manicures and pedicures in Alina's new practice Ahhh ...  Total relaxation!
